The College Residence mainly offers single rooms equipped with a bedroom sink, a desk and a storage space.
Clean bedding is provided once a week. Students need to bring their sheets to the front desk and clean ones will be given back to them. Students must, however, bring their own towels and a warm blanket.
There are washrooms, showers and a kitchenette on each floor. Fridges can be rented and brought to the room.
A key deposit of $60 CAD must be paid upon the day of arrival and will be refunded on the day of departure if the following conditions have been met:
Three meals a day are served at the cafeteria all week.
During the weekends, students are proposed different options depending on activities: cafeteria, brunch, catered meals or packed lunches for excursions. Only breakfast is included on the two-day visit to Quebec City.
We have well-equipped kitchens on each floor of the Residence that the students may use. We provide pans, pots and dishes for students who want to cook. There are three big grocery stores and a few fine food boutiques within one kilometer. There are also many restaurants downtown.
In order for l’École de français to provide the best possible food service, students must specify food allergies or special diets on their Personal Information Form when they register.
There is a telephone in each room. Local calls are free. For long distance calls students can call collect or use a cell phone.
To receive a call: we suggest students call their parents to inform them of the best time to call.
Washing machines and dryers are located on the first floor of the Residence. Students are responsible for the washing of their own clothes and towels.
The fee for using the washers or dryers is $1 CAD / use.
