L'École de français

Since 1974, l’École de français has offered a French immersion program in Rivière-du-Loup, Quebec with a long-standing history of excellence, helping students to learn all levels of French and get acquainted with the culture of the Province of Québec. 

You will receive a warm welcome in this thriving community, whose residents enjoy an enviable quality of life in the security of a small-town environment.

The College of Rivière-du-Loup boasts excellent sport and recreational facilities, a cultural centre, field and track installations, a beach volleyball court and a library.  There is also a music school within a short walking distance.

Spring term

The 5-week French Immersion Spring term program is intended for university students and adults (18+ years old). Within the academic program, there are specific activities and excursions to the program.

Summer term

The 5-week French Immersion Summer term program is intended for high school students (16-17 years old). Within the academic program, there are specific activities and excursions to the program.

L’École de français is accredited by the Canadian Explore Bursary Program.
Non-bursary students are welcome too!
